There’s a very interesting article in The Independent today about the LibDem leadership contest late last year.

Apparently, many votes were held up in the Christmas post, and an unofficial count of those indicated that Huhne would have won if they had arrived on time.

As readers of this blog know, I voted for Huhne, so this is really frustrating, especially given that Clegg hasn’t exactly impressed so far.

Snowy forsythia

The weather has been getting warmer recently, and Scotland has been full of cherries, forsythias, ribes, daffodils, tulips and other flowers in full bloom.

This morning, however, the weather decided to revert to full winter mode: Lots of snow everywhere.

It’s very pretty, but not very good for the garden, I fear!
