<p>Der er efterhånden tosprogede skilte i meget store dele af Europa (bl.a. i det skotske højland og i Wales), så hvorfor ikke også i den tosprogede del af Danmark?  Som det udmærket beskrives i artiklen:<br />

<p>For det første skal tosprogede skilte ikke indføres, fordi nogle ikke forstår flertalssproget. Det gør alle. Det gælder også de andre egne af Europa, hvor der er tosproget skiltning.
<p>Tosprogede skilte er et signal, et symbol på respekt for et mindretal. Gennem offentlig tosprogethed kan flertalsstaten anerkende, at der i et område findes flere sprog og nationale tilhørsforhold.
<p>For det andet er synlig tosprogethed vigtig som en fortælling til folk udefra. En fortælling om, at her er et område med flere sprog, nationaliteter og kulturer. Skiltene kan på den måde ses som en reklame for den dynamik, som altid har præget flersprogede og flerkulturelle grænselande.</p></blockquote>
<p>Det faktum, at tosprogede skilte endnu ikke er blevet sat op, og at emnet er kontroversielt, viser blot, hvor isolationistisk, xenofobisk og indskrænket Danmark efterhånden er blevet.  Det ville være glædeligt, hvis Danmark begyndte at bevæge sig i modsatte retning!</p>

<p>I like dedicated bicycle lanes, but in this case I&#8217;m not so sure.
<p>Also, why are they sending the cars right into the black hole on the bicycle lane?

<p>According to the description page for this photo, it&#8217;s a common street sign in Montreal.  That makes me a bit scared of ever visiting that place, since I don&#8217;t have the slightest clue what it&#8217;s supposed to mean.

<p>I&#8217;m really puzzled by this sign.
<p>My spontaneous interpretation is <i>don&#8217;t run up this wall</i>, but given that only superheroes such as Spiderman can do that, I guess it must be outlawing them instead.
<p>I guess in theory the photographer might also have rotated the picture 90 degrees before uploading it, but then it just gets even more bizarre &ndash; something like <i>don&#8217;t dance wildly</i>?
<p>Has anybody here got an idea what it might mean?<br clear="all" /></p>
